Coach Walker begins his 5th year at Jackson Academy as the Associate Athletic Director, Head Track and Cross Country Coach. Brandt comes to JA after 10 years at Jackson Prep where he coached football, track and taught World History and Mississippi History. He received the Coach of the Year award in track for the 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017. Brandt also coached at Copiah Academy and Simpson Academy. He is a graduate of Simpson Academy and the University of Southern Mississippi. Coach Walker and his wife Jennifer have one daughter, Mary Hampton (Class of 2024).
