Sports Results (08.03.21)

The Lady Raider Volleyball Teams hosted new MAIS member Madison St. Joseph at The Raider Dome to start the 2021 season. Both Middle School and JV matches were 2-0 finishes while the Varsity Lady Raiders won their match 3-0 as they got their seasons off to a great start. Next up for JA Volleyball will be a trip to Madison as they take on MRA with Middle School Matches at 4:00pm (B) and 5:00pm (A), JV at 6:00pm and Varsity at 7:00pm.

The Lady Raider Soccer Teams were in Greenwood to start the season. The Lady Raiders lost the JV match (1-0) and the Varsity Lady Raiders after two scoreless draws last year lost 2-0 to the Lady Mustangs. Next up is Starkville Academy on Thursday with the JV at 5:00pm and Varsity at 6:30pm.

The Fast Pitch Softball team had to wait a day for their season to start with a rainout on Monday as they hosted Parklane Academy in a Varsity doubleheader at Raider Park. The Lady Pioneers lost both games - Game 1 (15-0) and Game 2 (16-0). They will travel to Vicksburg on Thursday to take on St. Aloysius. JV - 5:00pm, Varsity - 6:30pm
