Jackson Academy hosted their annual Cross Country Invitational at Choctaw Trails on Monday. Over 30 teams and 700 athletes from around the state of Mississippi gathered to run four different races. The JV Girls and JV Boys ran in the 5:00pm hour, while the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys ran in the 6:00pm hour.

The JA JV Girls finished in 1st Place, while the JV Boys placed 2nd (only 2 pts away from placing 1st). The Varsity Girls finished 10th and the Varsity Boys finished in 4th Place. Multiple food trucks and a great atmosphere lead to a wonderful kick-off to the Cross Country season.

The JA Cross Country Team will travel to Flowood on Monday September 10th for their next meet, the Jackson Prep Invitational. First race is at 5:00pm. Good Luck Raider Runners!!!
