The Lady Raider Volleyball Team was in Ridgeland on Saturday as they participated in the Saints Showdown at St. Andrew's Episcopal School. The Lady Raiders had three pool matches which saw them defeat Ridgeland Warren Central and the host St. Andrew's. Then came bracket play and again the Lady Raiders were up to the task as they defeated Starkville (Quarterfinals), Clinton (Semifinals) and Madison Central (Championship). JA never dropped a set the entire day and won every set by double digits until the Championship. The Lady Raiders have now won 10 straight matches and are 32-3 on the season as they head into the final two weeks of regular season action this week. Tuesday they will host Jackson Prep, Thursday they will travel to face Brandon and this weekend they will take part in the Oxford Invitational.
