The Jackson Academy 7th Grade and JV Football Teams enjoyed their final home game of the season as they welcomed Parklane Academy to The Brickyard on Thursday and took care of business early and often. The 7th Grade Team got the night started off in good form as they took down the Pioneers in convincing fashion 30-6 improving their Overall Record to 4-0-1. The JV Football Team responded likewise with their second shutout of the season as they defeated the Pioneers 20-0 behind a good night on the ground by Joshua Ficklin as he finished with 93 yards on 10 carries and 2 TDs and Merritt Nations collected the other touchdown for JA, as the Raiders improved to 5-1 on the year. The final two weeks will be on the road for JA as they travel to Starkville Academy next week with 7th Grade action at 5:30pm and JV action following at 6:45pm.
