Jackson Academy Lady Raider Soccer had to travel to Flowood for the third meeting of the season between the Lady Raiders and Lady Patriots. JA won both regular season matchups and had won the last seven meetings between the two schools. The Lady Patriots jumped out to a 2-0 halftime lead before the Lady Raiders had a chance to catch their breath. After battling through some adversity, JA finally broke through in the 70th minute as Addison Comer chipped a ball in from midfield that Alayla Jackson ran up to and knocked in to cut the lead in half. Prep survived a few more shots on goal to deny the Lady Raiders a chance at four straight State Titles. The Lady Raiders finished with a 13-4-1 record.
