The Raiders started their 5-game road trip to close out 2019 in Natchez, MS as they took on Cathedral School for the second time inside of a week. The JV Raiders were unable to avenge their 50-49 loss from last week as they were overwhelmed by the Green Wave in a 51-36 loss. The Raiders drop to 7-3 on the season, having lost three of their last four games. They will return to action on Thursday in Greenwood at 5:15pm as they take on Pillow Academy

The Varsity Raiders had a great start to the game as they jumped out to 19-4 lead on the strength of Nick Bryan as he scored 8 of his 19 points in the first quarter. WIll Travelstead had another monster night from behind the arc as he dropped in six three pointers and completed the night with team-high 18 points. JA survived a big run by Cathedral as JT Taylor finished with a game-high 20 points and helped chip the deficit down to 5 with 0:44 seconds remaining before the Raiders held on for a 53-46 victory improving to 9?4 and ran their win streak to six in a row.
