The Varsity Lady Raiders began play in the annual Alfa West Jones Christmas Classic in Laurel, MS on the campus of West Jones High School, as they took on the Northeast Jones Lady Tigers.

The Lady Raiders dominated the contest as they closed the first half on a 29-7 run to turn a two point game into a big 35-11 halftime lead which they never relinquished. Ten different Lady Raiders got on the scoreboard while only one Lady Raider got into double digits. Every starter scored for JA as the five totaled 25 points in the game.

JA improved to 14-4 on the season and will finish play in Laurel tomorrow as they take on Puckett at 1:00pm in the Alfa West Jones Christmas Classic.

Emma Roberts - the junior tied for the game-high and won the Alfa Player of The Game with 10 points (4-12 FG, 2-7 3PT, 0-1 FT), had 1 rebound, 5 assists and had 3 steals.
