The Lady Raiders their busy week of action as they hosted Brookhaven Academy at The Raider Dome in the third game of the week. The Lady Raiders continued their recent dominance as they scored the first eleven points of the game and never looked back. They led 19-7 after the first quarter and 23-12 at the half. The Lady Cougars kept clawing back cutting the lead to nine at the end of the third quarter before JA put the game away securing their sixth straight win, 47-30. JA improved to 13-2 overall and will resume conference play next week against MRA and Prep.

The Varsity Lady Raiders had an early battle on their hands as they trailed 8-7 with 1:42 left in the first quarter. JA then turned up the pressure and went on a 29-0 run shutting out the Lady Cougars in the second quarter. Brookhaven finally stopped the almost 13 minute scoreless streak with a bucket in the third, but the damage was already done as the Lady Raiders won going away 48-16 and picked up their 20th win on the season moving to 20-5 overall. JA will head back into conference play next week as they host MRA on Tuesday and Prep on Friday.
