The Raiders wrapped up their three game week as they welcomed Brookhaven Academy to The Raider Dome. The JV Boys were gunning for six wins straight and they began the game with an impressive 19-5 first quarter. They didn?t slow up as they pushed the lead to 34-7 at halftime. They eventually got the clock running as they ran past the 35 point mercy rule early in the fourth quarter as they cruised to a 47-12 victory and moved their record to 13-3 overall with their sixth victory in a row.

The Varsity Raiders were in for a battle as they took on a Cougar squad that came in with a 18-5 record. The first quarter saw two big runs, a 6-0 run by JA followed by a 7-0 run by Brookhaven as they led 11-9 after the first quarter. The game featured 10 lead changes and 7 ties and Brookhaven led for almost 20 minutes of the game. That is until the final 2 minutes of the game when Henry Lee and Nick Bryan combined for a 7-0 run to erase a five point deficit and give the Raiders a 42-40 victory. The win gave the Raiders five wins in their last six games and improved to 16-7 overall. JA will have another busy week as they take part in the Rumble in the South on Monday at St. Andrews at 9:00am and then they host MRA on Tuesday and Prep on Friday.
