Raiders Fall To Yazoo City
13th Annual Rumble In The South
The Raiders continued their busy schedule with their third game in four days as they participated in the 13th Annual Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Rumble in The South at St. Andrews by taking on Yazoo City High School. The early morning start did not help the Raiders as they fell behind early and never were able to get it going. The Indians turned an early 2-2 tie into a 10-2 ballgame in about ninety seconds. The Raiders drew to within three with just 2 minutes left in the first quarter and that is as close as they would get the rest of the game. The lead grew to double figures by halftime and Yazoo City finished off the Raiders quickly with a 54-32 win to drop the Raiders to 16-8 overall. JA will finish off their busy schedule with another game tomorrow as they host MRA at The Raider Dome.
