With light rain falling at The Brickayrd on Thursday night Jackson Academy played their second home games of the week at The Brickyard as they hosted Madison-Ridgeland Academy for the second and final meeting of the regular season. The first time they met the Raiders won 4-1 in Madison. This time the JV Raiders played second as the original schedule was flipped but playing last did not seem to phase the JV Raiders as they registered their 10th shutout in 13 matches by blanking the Patriots 6-0 while improving to 13-0 on the year.

The Varsity Raiders pushed their winning streak to six straight games and in the process completed a regular season sweep of the MRA Patriots and moved their conference record to 7-1 with just two conference games remaining on the season. Reed Travelstead led JA with two goals while four other Raiders chipped in a goal a piece. The Raiders improved their overall record to 13-1 on the season. JA will wrap up the regular season next week as travel to Prep on Tuesday and return home for Senior Night next Thursday.
