The Lady Raider Soccer Teams celebrated their three seniors (Ava Couey, Natalie Thompson, and Emily Thompson) in a special way on Tuesday night as they battled against the Presbyterian Christian School Lady Bobcats in conference play at The Brickyard. After a scoreless first half, PCS got on the board with a header off a corner kick in the 46th minute to claim a 1-0 lead. With less than five minutes left in the second half Addi Roberts turned and fired in the equalizing goal from 25 yards out. Then just two minutes later, Roberts sent a long ball to Avery Kobs which she tracked down and put into the right corner with her left foot to give the Lady Raiders the 2-1 victory. They evened up their conference record at 3-3 with the win with just two conference matches remaining.

The JV Lady Raiders picked up a 2-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of their match. The Lady Bobcats evened up the match at 2-2 quickly in the first three minutes of the second half. The JV Lady Raiders scored the game winning goal with 10 minutes left in the second half and moved their record to 4-3-1. The Lady Raiders will host Jackson Prep on Thursday at The Brickyard. JV will kickoff at 5:00pm with the Varsity match following at 6:30pm.

The Lady Raider Volleyball Teams traveled to Mendenhall on Tuesday night and took all three matches against Simpson Academy. The Middle School A-Team stayed perfect on the season at 8-0 and they have still not dropped a set on the season. The JV squad also managed to make quick work of the Lady Cougars and moved their record to a perfect 10-0. The Varsity Lady Raiders won their third straight match with a 3-0 victory, which moves their overall mark to 18-2 on the year. Next up for JA Volleyball is Jackson Prep on Thursday night at The Raider Dome. Middle School matches - 4pm and 5pm. JV - 6pm. Varsity - 7pm.

The Softball Teams were at Liberty Park in Madison taking on MRA in conference play. The JV Lady Raiders picked up their second win of the season with a 10-9 victory. The Varsity Lady Raiders nearly picked up their first conference win as they came up just short with a 12-11 loss to the Lady Patriots. Next up is a return to Raider Park on Monday as they will battle Jackson Prep in their regular season finale and celebrate Senior Night. Varsity starts at 4:00pm and the JV team follows at 5:30pm.
