The Lady Raider Volleyball Teams finally returned to The Raider Dome on Thursday night after nearly a month away from home and faced the Jackson Prep Lady Patriots in conference play. The Middle School B-Team got things started with a three set battle as they were able to hold on for the 2-1 win. It was only the second time of the season that they were pushed to three sets as they moved their overall record to 6-0. The Middle School A-Team also remained unbeaten on the season at 9-0 and they kept their perfect match streak in the process. The A-Team has yet to drop a set in any of their nine matches. The JV squad were riding a ten match win streak and beat the Lady Patriots 2-0 in Flowood almost a month ago. The Lady Patriots took the first set, which was only the second time the JV squad had lost a set. The Lady Raiders forced a deciding third set in which Prep squeaked by to stop the win streak. The Varsity Lady Raiders made it four straight in the win column with a 3-0 victory over Prep, which moves their overall mark to 19-2 on the year and 9-1 in conference play. Next up for JA Volleyball is Madison Central on Saturday for just JV (4pm) and Varsity (5pm). Then next Monday and Tuesday, Hartfield Academy comes to The Raider Dome for four matches. Both Middle School matches will be on Monday at 4pm (B-Team) and 5pm (A-Team). Then on Tuesday it will be JV and Varsity 5pm and 6pm.

The Lady Raider Soccer Teams also hosted Jackson Prep on Tuesday night in conference play at The Brickyard. JA was unable to pull out a win in either match as the Varsity Lady Raiders fell to 3-4 in conference play with just one conference match remaining in their 2-0 loss to Prep. The JV Lady Raiders fell to 4-4-1 with their 4-0 loss to the Lady Patriots. The Lady Raiders will travel to Parklane next Tuesday while the JV team travels to East Rankin Academy. Both matches are at 5:00pm.

The JV Football Team was in Hattiesburg to take on Presbyterian Christian School and they dominated form start to finish. The Raiders routed the Bobcats 42-0 and improved to 4-1 on the season. The B-Team against PCS was cancelled and they remained at 4-0 on the year.
