Three Raiders Make The List
Congratulations to these three Raiders for being named to The Clarion Ledger All State Football Team:
Trey Adams (2nd Team Defense) - He led the Raiders with six interceptions. He also deflected five passes and finished the season with 32 tackles, including 27 solo.
Deion Smith (2nd Team Offense) - The No. 1 senior in the state, according to the 247Sports composite rankings, reeled in 640 yards on 36 catches and seven touchdowns. He also carried the ball eight times for 189 yards and two touchdowns. On the second play in the JA's first playoff game against Parklane, he suffered a season-ending injury to his foot. Smith signed with LSU last month.
Lardarius Webb, Jr. (2nd Team Defense) - He was part of a dynamic secondary. In 13 games, Webb deflected nine passes, grabbed an interception, blocked a field goal and had 58 tackles, with 41 of them being solo.
