The Lady Raider Softball Team took part in the MRA Softball Invitational at Liberty Park today as they took on The Jackson Victors and St. Aloysius in early morning action. They lost 14-0 to the Victors and 8-2 to St. Aloysius. They will return to Raider Park on Monday to take on Central Holmes Christian. Varsity - 4:00pm, JV - 5:30pm.

The Lady Raider JV and Varsity Volleyball Teams competed in The Southern Classic Friday and Saturday at JA and Infinity Volleyball, while the Middle School was taking part in The Top Hits Classic at Millsaps College. The Middle School finished 1-2 on the day with a win over Hartfield Academy and losses to DeSoto Central and MRA.

DeSoto Central - L, 2-0 (8-25, 19-25)
Hartfield - W, 2-0 (25-16, 25-19)
MRA L, 2-0 (22-25, 20-25)

The JV squad was added to The Southern Classic and were able to get four matches in the books. They finished with a 1-3 mark as they topped St. Joseph and dropped matches to Ocean Springs, Lewisburg and Lake Cormorant

Next up for JA Volleyball will be a trip to Hattiesburg as they take on Presbyterian Christian with Middle School action starting at 4:00pm (A), JV at 5:00pm, and Varsity at 6:00pm.
