The JV Cross Country Team has had an impressive start to the running season. According to MS.MileSplit.com - the JV Girls are currently #1 out of 32 other teams (public and private) in the state of Mississippi, while the JV Boys are ranked #8 in the state out of19 teams.

Individually, Law Stanley (6th Grader) is #1 in the State of Mississippi for his grade in the 2 mile ? and #2 in the United States for his grade in the 2 mile. Olivia Patricia Smith is #2 in the State for 7th grade 2 mile and #53 in the United States for the 2 mile of her age group out of 1000 nationally ranked runners. Abbi Mims is #3 in the state for a 7th grade 2 mile and #60 in the United State for the 2 mile of her age group out of 1000 nationally ranked runners.

The JV Girls recently won the MRA Invitational at Choctaw Trails by a wide margin as Olivia Patricia Smith (#1), Sara Beth Usey (#6), Abbi Mims (#8) and Ella Logan (#11) all finished in the top eleven.

The JV Boys finished in 3rd place, while the Varsity Girls finished 11th and the Varsity Boys placed 2nd.

Out of 3 meets JA JV Girls are undefeated and are ranked #1 in the State of MS out of 33 Schools (non MAIS too) in lowest points scored.
