Lady Raider Volleyball took a trip down Highway 49 as they traveled to Hattiesburg and The Rees Gymnasium to take on Presbyterian Christian School. The Middle School took the first set but couldn?t close it out as they lost 2-1. The JV Lady Raiders remained unbeaten in MAIS play with a 2-0 win over the Lady Bobcats. The Varsity Lady Raiders also won their third game to start the year against MAIS competition as they won in straight sets over PCS.

Next up for JA Volleyball will be a return to The Raider Dome as they host Madison Central with Middle School action starting at 4:00pm (B) and 5:00pm (A), JV at 6:00pm and Varsity at 7:00pm.

The Lady Raider Softball Team headed back on the road to Brandon and Quarry Park to take on Park Place Christian Academy. The JV Lady Raiders got things off to a good start with a 11-4 victory as they improved to 2-1 on the season. The Varsity Lady Raiders had a little tougher time as they dropped the nightcap in a 7-4 loss. The next action for the Lady Raiders will be on Thursday as they travel to Lexington to take on Central Holmes Christian School. JV - 5:00pm, Varsity 6:15pm.
