Lady Raider Volleyball got the sports day started with a Varsity only matchup in South Jackson as they took on Hillcrest Christian for the second time this season. The result was similar as they took down the Lady Cougars (25-15, 25-10, 25-5) and improved to 19-6 and 10-0 in MAIS play. The Lady Raiders will be at St. Andrew?s on Saturday for the Saints Showdown

Lady Raider Soccer was next on the schedule with a JV/Varsity twin bill in Hattiesburg as they faced Presbyterian Christian School . The Varsity Lady Raiders started things off with a 3-1 victory over the Lady Bobcats and won their eighth straight game and moved to 6-0 in conference play by sweeping the regular season series. The JV Lady Raiders were unable to complete the sweep as they dropped a 4-1 decision. Next up the Lady Raiders head to Memphis for a three-day event as they participate in the Collierville Rivals Classic

Lady Raider Softball finally resumed play and faced Jackson Prep but fell in a pair of shutouts. They will travel to Flowood on Monday to take on Hartfield Academy.

The JV Football teams wrapped up the busy athletic day by hosting Leake Academy. The B-Team tossed their second shutout with a 30-0 win and improved to 3-0. The JV Raiders have only given up two scores in three games, both coming late in each game. They also moved to 3-0 on the year. Next Thursday they host Hartfield Academy.
