The Lady Raiders began 2022 with a chance to shake off a two game losing skid that they finished 2021 with and a chance to start conference play with a victory. Success of both of those plans were made very difficult with the start that Jackson Prep had in the first quarter as Andie Flatgard scored 13 of the 16 that Prep scored as they led 16-8 after one. They pushed the lead to eleven in the second quarter as Flatgard had 13 at the break. The halftime adjustments by Coach Sojourner have been a big key to their success this season but the Lady Raiders were unable to do much as they still trailed by eleven heading into the final frame. Prep pulled away and won 44-24 to run their winning streak to six straight and 21-1 overall. The Lady Raiders dropped to 13-4 as only three Lady Raiders managed points in the loss, Ellis - 11, Buchanan - 9, Comer - 4.
