Lady Raiders Top Lady Bobcats 53-32


The Lady Raiders resumed conference play on Tuesday night at The Raider Dome as they played host to Presbyterian Christian School in search of their first conference victory. The first quarter was a back-and-forth affair that featured four lead changes, an eventual four point lead for JA that was trimmed to two at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Bobcats then went on a 9-2 run to push their lead to 25-20 before the Lady Raiders responded with a 10-0 run to eventually lead by four at the half. The third quarter was all JA as they pushed the lead to as many as 16 as they held PCS to 6 second half points to win 53-32. Cha'Myrean Ellis led the way with 21 points and Emily Buchanan added 11 points. The Lady Raiders moved their record to 15-4 and 1-1 in conference play. The JV Lady Raiders won their second straight game, 41-32 and improved to 10-1.
