Athletic Year Begins!!!
Softball Starts it off with a Win
The 20022-23 athletic season got underway on Monday as the Lady Raider Softball team welcomed Park Place Christian Academy at Raider Park. The JV squads were tied at 3-3 before rain halted their game after just 2 innings.
The Varsity Lady Raiders were red hot from the start as senior Anna Lauren Parker tossed 5 one hit innings to pick up the season opening victory for JA. Layla Farmer led the way at the plate going 2-for-3 with a triple. JA secured a 10-0 win to start the season 1-0. Next up is a visit to McComb for a doubleheader as they open up conference play.
