The Lady Raiders lost a close game last night to Madison-Ridgeland Academy 5-1. Ella Boykin, Ella King, and Avery Pickering each collected one hit for Jackson Academy. Logan Rohman picked up one RBI. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating five walks for the game. JA also turned two double plays in the game. Rohman opened the game for the Raiders and allowed six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Lindsey Johnson pitched in relief to close out the game.

Next up the Lady Raiders return home for a four game homestead as they host Central Holmes Christian on Monday.
