Softball Home Opener
Lady Raiders Fall 11-7
The Varsity Lady Raiders fell 11-7 in their home opener to Central Holmes Christian School on Monday after taking a lead in the first inning. JA got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Anna Payton Parker doubled, scoring two runs, Lindsey Johnson doubled, scoring one run, Avery Pickering singled, scoring one run, and Ella Boykin singled, scoring one run. Johnson and Ella King each collected two hits for JA. King had 2 doubles. The JV Lady Raiders lost a close one as the time factor got them in a 7-6 decision. Next up for JA is Jackson Prep on Monday, August 14th at Raider Park.
