The Cross Country Teams were in Magee, MS at Neely Farms on Monday to open up the season at The Park Place Invitational. The Varsity Boys finished in 2nd Place while the JV Boys finished in 3rd Place. There were two Varsity Raiders who finished in the Top 10 as Alex Patterson finished in 4th place with a time of 18:51.90 and Walt Towery placed 7th with a time of 19:11.50. In the JV Boys ranks Roman Anderson had the best Raider time with a 14:10.10 good enough for a 9th place finish. Lewis Garrard placed 15th with a time of 15:00.70. On the girls side Macy Garrard finished in the Top 10 with a time of 22:53.90 putting her in 9th place. Next up on the schedule is a Saturday race at Choctaw Trails sponsored by Mississippi College.
