This week they are identifying the top team in each state and once again Jackson Academy is in the conversation. Here is what MaxPreps had to say about The Lady Raiders. JA lost MaxPreps All-American Laken Laurendine but have plenty to fill the void in the quest to win a fifth straight title and ninth in the past decade. Jackson Academy is 187-28 in Melissa Denson's five-year tenure. She has hitters and middles in 6-2 freshman Carson Caraway, senior Ava Antonaros, juniors Sophie Sosa and Meghan Ellis along with senior libero Kaylee Lowther and senior setter Harper Griffin.
