The Lady Raiders closed out the home portion of their regular season schedule with Senior Night at The Brickyard on Monday night as they hosted Jackson Prep and honored Ava Antonaros, Harper Griffin and Avery Kobs. The JV Lady Raiders finished with another tie with Jackson Prep 1-1 and had their record move to 5-2-3.

In varsity action the Lady Raiders found themselves in a physical battle with the Lady Patriots who were previously unbeaten in conference play and in the state of Mississippi this season. In the 35th minute Logan Burger kicked home up a loose ball off of a Izzy Scott corner kick. JA dominated the offensive zone for the first 60 minutes before Prep really started to press the issue and earn more scoring chances. Ava Antonaros, who was a game time decision, made a huge impact in goal with a clean sheet for the Lady Raiders. JA improves to 8-6 overall and 4-3 in conference play. Next up is a trip to MRA on Thursday.
