The Raiders and Lady Raiders wrapped up three games in four days by returning to The Raider Dome after a twenty three day absence and hosted Starkville Academy for six games. The first two games were 7th grade action as The Lady Raiders won 29-20 and the Raiders won 23-16. Next up were the JV squads as The Lady Raiders had their four game win streak snapped at the hands of the Lady Vols 26-22. The JV Raiders extended their win streak to four games with a 46-24 victory.

In varsity action the Lady Raiders jumped out to a seven point lead after a quarter and extended it to eight points at halftime. The Lady Raiders pushed their lead to 13 before the Lady Vols shrunk the lead back to nine at the end of three quarters. JA left nothing in doubt with a commanding 14-0 run to start the final frame as the Lady Raiders pulled away with a 45-22 win to improve back to 10-10 as they enter conference play next week. It was also the fifth straight win for JA.

The Raiders welcomed back Mason Williams to the lineup as they made their return to The Raider Dome in search of a nineteenth win in twenty games. They got off to a good start with a twelve point lead after eight minutes. A mediocre second quarter saw JA outscore Starkville Academy by just a point as they led 32-19 at halftime. The third quarter was a Raider quarter as they stretched their lead to 50-28 before closing out the Vols 63-40 for their fifth consecutive victory and a perfect 6-0 mark at home as JA moved their record to 19-1. Mason and Mike Williams combined for 34 points and 11 rebounds in the contest.

The Varsity Girls and Boys will get into conference play next week as they travel to face Hartfield Academy on Tuesday. JV Games will start at 4:00pm & 5:15pm with varsity action scheduled for 6:30pm and 7:45pm.
