The Raiders were in Lafayette, LA over the weekend as they participated in the EIL Showcase by taking on Teurlings Catholic and Catholic Baton Rouge. The Raiders got off to a good start on Friday with a 3-1 victory over Teurlings Catholic as they got goals from Nicholas Harris, John Travelstead, and Ford Childress with and assist from Jacob Scarbrough. In goal Jamison Graham (3 saves) and Thomas Beckett (1 save) teamed up for the win. In their second game on Saturday they faced the #6 team in the country and the #1 team in Louisiana and came up on the short end of a 3-0 loss. The Raiders will return to action on Tuesday as they face Presbyterian Christian School in Hattiesburg to start conference play.
